Kroos Criticizes Vinicius's Character
Former Real Madrid German star Toni Kroos revealed new details related to his former teammate Vinicius Junior, confirming that he was constantly keen on calming the Brazilian player on the field due to some behaviors that caused controversy and affected the team.
Kroos said in his statement: "I always used to tell him enough, because sometimes we felt that the team was harmed by his behavior. It is understandable that some of his actions might be annoying to the opponent, the referees, or even the rival fans."
The former German star added: "It is understandable that his actions could be disturbing at times, whether to the opposing player, the referee, or the rival team's fans. As a team, we felt that everything was turning against us because of him."
He concluded: "I was always telling him: Vinicius, you are a great player and you absolutely do not need these behaviors. The goal was to prevent him from losing his focus, which sometimes happened to him."
It is worth mentioning that the Brazilian star often got into scuffles with the rival teams' fans and opposing players, in addition to his repeated objections to the referees' decisions.
