Chelsea Plans to Reward Caicedo
Sky Sports reported that Chelsea is considering offering Ecuadorian star Moisés Caicedo an improved contract, in recognition of his outstanding performance and his status as one of the best midfielders in the world right now.
Since the beginning of the 2023/24 season, Caicedo has missed only three matches in the Premier League and has successfully surpassed the 100-match mark with the 'Blues' across all competitions.
Caicedo, 24 years old, joined Chelsea from Brighton on a contract that extends for eight years until 2031, with an option for an additional year.
The English club seems very keen on securing the player by increasing his salary, especially since he has recently been linked with several clubs, most notably Real Madrid.
