It seems that the Tunisian coach Lassaad Jarda Chabi is on the verge of a new experience in his coaching career, this time in Algeria through ES Sétif, one of the prestigious clubs in Algerian football, which is going through a difficult phase in terms of results this season.

The management of ES Sétif officially announced the termination of the coach Toufik Rouabah's contract following the defeat against USM Algiers with a score of (3 - 1) in the ninth round of the Algerian league, a loss that angered the fans of the "Black Eagle" and complicated the team's technical situation.

According to sources close to the club, the management has entered into advanced negotiations with Lassaad Jarda Chabi to take over the team, as the Tunisian coach is seen as the most suitable at this stage due to his extensive African experience and knowledge of North African football.

Chabi had been dismissed from coaching Raja CA of Morocco on September 22, after the team's performance declined since he took over in February, succeeding the Portuguese Ricardo Sa Pinto. The club's sports director, Sébastien Soummakal, stated that the decision came after "careful monitoring of the performance, which was not convincing for the management or the fans," pointing to recurring technical and physical issues even against teams from the second division.

If the agreement with ES Sétif is finalized, Chabi will be the third coach of the team this season after only 7 matches, following the duo Antoine Hay and Toufik Rouabah, at a time when the club occupies the thirteenth position with 7 points, accumulated from two wins, one draw, and four losses, making the task of restoring balance a real challenge for the next coach.
