The media personality Jamal Al-Ghandour revealed on the "Stad Al-Mihwar" program that Al-Ahly's management has started taking steps to renew the contract of Mustafa Shobair, the team's goalkeeper.

Al-Ghandour explained that the management of Al-Ahly intends to communicate with the player and his father, the media figure Ahmed Shobir, in the coming days to present an official offer to extend the contract for an additional four seasons, in addition to the remaining season in his current contract.

Al-Ghandour stated that this move comes in light of the club's desire to maintain stability in the goalkeeper position following the impressive performance the player delivered during his recent participation with the red team.

Al-Ahly is preparing to face their traditional rival Zamalek next Sunday in the final of the Egyptian Super Cup.
