Hossam El-Shahat, the Al Ahly player, commented on his team's reaching the final of the Egyptian Super Cup after defeating Ceramica Cleopatra with a score of 2-1 in the semi-final match, which took place at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium yesterday, Thursday.

Hossam El-Shahat will miss the Egyptian Super Cup due to injury; however, he is still part of Al Ahly's delegation in the UAE.

Al-Shahat stated in his remarks: "We achieved an important victory against Ceramica Cleopatra, and we could have scored more goals, but the most important thing is securing the win. We all support the team even if we are absent from playing."

He added, "I am still in the rehabilitation phase, and I am with my fellow players to continue my recovery and support them during the Super Cup."

He added, "Al-Ahly needs to win the Super Cup at this crucial time of the season, as it will be a strong boost for us in what is to come."

Al-Shahat praised the efforts of those organizing the Super Cup in the UAE, noting that he recalls his previous and fourth experience with Al Ain Club.
