The Spanish club Real Madrid announced today, Thursday, the injury of its French player Aurélien Tchouaméni and his absence from the team in the coming weeks.

The club stated in its official statement: "After the examinations conducted today for our player Aurélien Tchouaméni by the medical services of Real Madrid, it was found that he suffers from an injury to the semitendinosus muscle in his left leg. His recovery process will be monitored during the coming period."

According to the Spanish newspaper "Marca", Tchouaméni will be sidelined for approximately 3 weeks, which poses a significant blow to coach Xabi Alonso's plans, especially given the density of matches at this time.

Tchouaméni is expected to miss Real Madrid's matches against: Rayo Vallecano, Elche, Olympiacos, Girona, in addition to missing out on the French national team during the upcoming international break.
