Ahmed Abdel Raouf: I Trust My Ability to Lead the Team to Victory Over Pyramids
Ahmed Abdel Raouf, the coach of Zamalek, confirmed that his team is ready to face Pyramids in the semi-finals of the Egyptian Super Cup.
Today, Thursday, Zamalek faces its counterpart Pyramids in the semi-finals of the Egyptian Super Cup, and the match will take place at Al Nahyan Stadium.
Abdul Raouf said at the pre-match press conference: "I am happy to be in the United Arab Emirates and to represent Zamalek in an important tournament like the Egyptian Super Cup."
He added, "We are very well prepared to deliver a strong match against Pyramids, which is a great team currently experiencing a wonderful period."
He continued: "We are not worried as we have the support of Zamalek fans, and we have often overcome major crises with the support of the crowd."
He added: "I trust in the technical level of Zamalek's players, even though we are suffering from significant absences, but the current group will take on the responsibility."
He continued: "In reality, the club does not suffer from any technical issues, but it is limited to what the media reports or what happens in the management."
He continued: "We need everyone to help Zamalek overcome this phase in order to bring the team back to its rightful place."
He affirmed: "We do not fear any opponent. Zamalek is a great club, and I have spent most of my life as a player and a fan of the club. What matters to me is the interest of the entity."
He added, "The big teams, especially Zamalek, have a constant plan for handling crucial matches, and I trust in my ability to lead the team to victory."
