Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham appeared in press statements after the 1-0 loss against Liverpool in the fourth round of the Champions League group stage.

The player said: "I think the result reflects the team's performance, and they were a little better. In the second half, they put in more effort and were very dangerous on set pieces."

He added: "We didn't defend against them well. Courtois saved us on two occasions. I think we managed to find spaces at the beginning and controlled part of the first half, but in the second half, they took their chance and won by a very slim margin. This is reflected in the result."

He concluded: "We are still at the beginning of the season, and in the Champions League last season, we were in a much worse position, yet we qualified. We cannot let this match ruin our positive energy and the positive atmosphere we have built. We will focus on the positives, learn from the negatives, and move forward."
