Hausen: I Achieved My Dream, and This is My Opinion on Vinicius

Real Madrid defender Din Hausen appeared at a press conference to discuss tomorrow's match against Liverpool in the fourth round of the Champions League at Anfield.

The player said in his remarks: "I am in excellent physical condition. I am very happy to be here; it is my dream. I hope to make Madrid's fans happy. Militao is a complete center-back. Off the field, he is a wonderful person. We understand each other well."

He added: "Personally, I have played here before (at Anfield), so there will be no problem. It’s just a football field, and the players are the ones who play. I prefer to train at our stadium instead of here before this match."

Regarding his decision to join Real Madrid: "Real Madrid is a dream, and I wanted to play here. For everyone, including me, it is the best club in the world. I am completely in tune with Xabi's ideas and the club's plan. I am very happy to be here."

He continued: "There has been a lot written in the press about Vinicius (after the events of El Clasico), and it has exaggerated a matter that wasn't that significant. He apologized; he is a great teammate and a really wonderful person. Nothing happens; these things happen in football."

On his development as a player: "In Italy, I went to learn good defending, and I learned a lot there. I am very grateful to Juventus and Roma; their decision was to let me leave, and I am very thankful. I had a great time there."

On Mbappe's performance last season: "He won the Golden Shoe, so it is unreasonable to say that his performance was bad last year. We are very happy with him."

He concluded: "I believe I am good at distributing the balls, and I try to help the team as much as I can. Xabi asks me for that as well, and other things, of course. I am happy."
