Union Speaker: We Demand Foreign Referee for Al-Ahli Match and Cancellation of Fabinho's Card

Riyad Al-Muzahir, the spokesperson for Al-Ittihad Club, revealed that his club is demanding the cancellation of the red card received by Brazilian midfielder Fabinho during the match against Al-Khaleej in the Roshen Saudi League.
Fabinho received a red card for violent conduct against an Al-Khaleej player in the 32nd minute, leaving the Jeddah team to complete the match with 10 players.
Al-Muzahir stated in his remarks: "Fabinho's red card is considered one of the rare cases, and there is a complete consensus among refereeing analysts that the red card was unjustified."
He continued: "We have requested the referees' committee to listen to the dialogue that took place between the on-field referee and the VAR room, and we demand the cancellation of the red card as the situation did not warrant a red card."
Al-Muzahir also pointed out that his club objected to the timing of the match against Riyadh scheduled for November 21 at 4:45 PM, explaining that it would be better to reschedule it to 6 or 7 PM.
He concluded: "The weather in Jeddah will affect the attendance for the match, in addition to the early timing coinciding with Friday prayers, as well as the distance of Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium from residential areas. We also demand a foreign refereeing crew for the Jeddah derby match against Al-Ahli."
