Wolverhampton Plans to Hire Xavi as Team Coach
Sunday 02-11-2025
Reports from the "Fichajes" website revealed that the English club Wolverhampton has begun negotiations with Spanish coach Xavi Hernandez to take over the team's coaching duties, following the dismissal of Portuguese coach Vitor Pereira due to poor results in the Premier League.

The website explained that Wolverhampton's management sees Xavi as the ideal choice to lead their new project and save the team from its current crisis, especially since he has not been coaching any club since leaving Barcelona.

The English club hopes that Xavi can help rebuild the team's identity on the pitch, leveraging his coaching experience and his possession-based style, which the management considers a strategy that could positively change the team's performance.

The same source indicated that the name Thiago Motta is also being considered as an alternative option in case the club does not reach a final agreement with Xavi, despite the difficulty of negotiating with him.

Wolverhampton is looking for a new coach capable of quickly improving results and restoring confidence to the players and fans, after the team has dropped to the lower positions in the Premier League table.
