Amorim: We Lack Energy Away From Home, But We Are Constantly Improving

Manchester United's manager, Ruben Amorim, expressed his relative satisfaction with his team's performance after the 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League, confirming that the team continues to progress despite some negative points, chief among them the drop in energy in away matches.
The match saw player Amad Diallo score a last-minute equalizer, giving United an important point after being two goals down at the start of the second half.
Amorim said: "I think we lost a bit of our energy level, and you can feel that when the team is not at its peak energy and enthusiasm; nevertheless, we managed to score again and tried to win the match, we had a big chance at the end, but we lacked a bit of luck."
The United coach added: "We need to work on showing the same strength away from home as we do at our stadium; we are improving and everyone can see that, we are starting to gain the feeling that if we can't win, at least we won't lose."
He continued: "Our pressing style and enthusiasm in some situations were better in the last match, and we need to maintain this level in every game."
Regarding Amad Diallo's goal, Amorim explained: "The goal was fantastic for the fans, and it was very important for us, but I focus on the team's performance throughout the 90 minutes, and on what we did well, and I will tell that to the players."
The Manchester United manager concluded his remarks by affirming: "The good thing is that I see great potential for better performances, and if we combine what we do right with the desire to improve, it means we are on the right track and truly making progress."
