Raja Coach: We Missed Offensive Effectiveness Against Wydad but We are Moving in the Right Direction
Thursday 30-10-2025
David Fadlu Daiviz, the coach of Raja Casablanca, praised the performance of his players in the derby match against Wydad Casablanca, despite the match ending in a goalless draw (0-0), in the postponed match of the fifth round of the professional league "Inwi".

Fadlu said in a media statement after the match: "We started well and applied the plan we worked on, and we created clear chances to score, but we did not manage to exploit them. We also could not maintain the high pace we started the match with, which is natural given the short time we have spent together, as the team is still in the process of building the foundations and methodology we wish to establish."

The South African coach added that work is ongoing to improve the harmony between the players and increase offensive efficiency, explaining: "We focus on off-the-ball movements and the harmony between the lines. There are many positive indicators that emerged in today's match, but some injuries affected the lineup, especially after the injury of Al-Sharibi and Sabres suffering from muscle fatigue, which forced us to make changes that limited our options."

Fadlu concluded his remarks by affirming his confidence in the group, saying: "We aimed to achieve victory, but the draw is a logical result considering the course of the match. We will continue to work on improving effectiveness in front of the goal and preparing well for the upcoming break."
