Nahdat Berkane Secures Casablanca Summit and Returns with a Valuable Victory Against Raja

RS Berkane secured a valuable victory from the stronghold of Raja Casablanca, defeating them 1-0 in the match held at the Mohammed V Sports Complex, as part of the 22nd round of the professional league.

The match was strong and balanced for most of its duration, with Raja asserting its dominance in terms of ball possession and creating offensive attempts. However, the lack of a final touch prevented these opportunities from being converted into goals, while the Berkane team displayed great tactical discipline and relied on quick counterattacks to threaten the home team's goal.

The first half ended in a goalless draw after both sides failed to break through the defenses, before the dynamics changed in the second half of the match.

In the 76th minute, Paul Valère Bassene capitalized on a well-organized counterattack to score the lead goal for Renaissance Berkane, giving his team a valuable advantage at a critical moment in the match.

Despite the goal scorer receiving a red card just four minutes after opening the scoring, which forced the Berkane team to complete the remaining minutes with ten players, the visitors managed to maintain their lead thanks to solid defense and great focus until the final whistle.

Raja pushed hard in the final minutes in search of an equalizing goal, and Adam Nefati almost brought the match back to square one, but goalkeeper Anas Zniti excelled in saving his attempt, maintaining his team's advantage until the end.
