Chelsea manager Enzo Marisca spoke to the press after the 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest in the eighth round of the Premier League.

The coach began his remarks regarding the dismissal of Ange Postecoglou, saying: "I feel very sorry. It’s always sad, but as we often say, this is a profession that depends on winning matches. We all face the same consequences."

He added about the match: "In the first half, they performed well and tried to impose their style, but in the second half, we were much better and deserved the win. We made some tactical changes, and I believe we were the team more deserving of the three points."

Regarding the goal from young Achimpong, Marisca said: "I’m very happy for him. Some think that trusting a player means just including him, but I have trusted Josh since last season. He is a great player and will be the future of the club."

He also addressed the situation of captain Reece James, stating: "Reece is a very important player for us. We hope he will be ready for more matches. Since I arrived, we have been trying to manage his condition carefully; he has had issues in the past but now looks much better."

On Chelsea being the highest-scoring team in the Premier League, he explained: "This means the team is performing great. We always try to give the players the right tools to show their best."

In conclusion, he commented on Malo Gusto's red card, saying: "It was definitely a mistake because it was 3-0 and almost the last minute; we didn't need to make a mistake. But it also shows Malo's desire to win every challenge, which is a positive despite the error. Enthusiasm and the desire to win are very important."
