Right-back Mohamed Boulksout, a player for Raja Casablanca, missed the friendly match that brought together the national reserve team and its Kuwaiti counterpart on the evening of Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the end of the preparatory camp held in the UAE in preparation for the Arab Cup.

Reports revealed that Boulksout's absence was due to a back injury he sustained during the national team's first match against Egypt on October 9 in Mohammedia, as the player felt pain immediately after the end of the match, prompting the medical staff to excuse him from the second match as a precautionary measure.

The medical staff of Raja Casablanca is awaiting a detailed report from their counterparts in the national team to determine the severity of the injury and the potential duration of absence, especially with two decisive matches approaching for the green team, the first against Olympique de Dcheira, and the second against Wydad Casablanca in the "Casablanca Derby".

Boulksout is considered one of the key defensive pillars in the lineup of South African coach Fadlu Davids, having participated regularly since the start of the season, delivering consistent performances on the right flank, both with the local team in the CHAN finals and in the professional league competitions.
