Football Italia reported that AC Milan star Christian Pulisic is likely to miss his team's upcoming match against Fiorentina, scheduled for Sunday at San Siro, due to a hamstring injury sustained during his participation with the United States national team against Australia.

The same source clarified that Pulisic's injury, who currently tops the Serie A scoring chart, came just days after recovering from a previous ankle injury, as he came on as a substitute in his country's match against Ecuador before starting the game against Australia and leaving the field after just 30 minutes.

Mauricio Pochettino, the American national team coach, confirmed after the match that the player felt pain in his hamstring, noting that Pulisic will return to Italy for necessary tests and to accurately assess his condition.

It is worth mentioning that the 27-year-old Pulisic has scored six goals and provided two assists in eight matches he has played with Milan this season across various competitions.
