The French legend Zinedine Zidane confirmed that he plans to return to work again as a head coach in the near future, indicating that his desire to coach remains strong.
Zidane said during his talk at the 'Festival Dello Sport': "I will definitely return to work as a coach, that is my plan."
He added, the former star of Real Madrid and the French national team: "My desire is to become the coach of the French national team one day... we will see what happens."
Zidane is always one of the leading names considered to take over the French national team after the World Cup, succeeding coach Didier Deschamps, who will leave the national team after the 2026 World Cup.
