French star Kylian Mbappe underwent medical tests in Madrid, which ruled out a serious injury to his right ankle, according to reliable journalist Arancha Rodriguez.

Mbappe will be able to return to group training next week, in preparation for participating with the team in the upcoming competitions.

The Real Madrid forward had sustained an injury to his right ankle during a match against Villarreal last week, causing him to miss some training sessions with the French national team during the international break.

Despite this, Mbappe started against Azerbaijan in the World Cup qualifiers, before requesting a substitution in the final minutes after feeling discomfort in the same area of the injury, returning to Madrid after the match for tests that confirmed his safety from any serious damage.

Real Madrid will face Getafe on October 19 in La Liga, then Juventus on October 22 in the Champions League.
