Koman: I'm Not Surprised by My Call-Up to the French National Team
Kinsley Koman, a player for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, confirmed that he is not surprised by the recent decision to call him up to the French national team.
Koman stated in remarks to the French newspaper "L'Équipe": "I have spent 10 years in Europe, and that doesn't disappear just because I moved to the Saudi league. You don't lose everything overnight."
He continued: "I played with Bayern Munich for 10 years, and I didn't lose my level in just one year, and I won't lose it there either."
He emphasized: "I used to play around 47 matches per season. I will now play fewer matches, but I will make up for that in training."
Koman concluded: "I believe that the Saudi league, with the stars present in it today, has become more competitive."
