Tuesday 07-10-2025
The Moroccan Under-20 national team continues to write chapters of its brilliance in the World Cup finals held in Chile, after becoming the only Arab representative in the Round of 16, following the exit of the Egyptian and Saudi teams from the group stage.

The Egyptian team ended its journey in third place in Group A, but lost the qualification spot on yellow cards against the Chilean team, which secured the runner-up position with a thrilling victory over the "Pharaohs" by 2-1.

As for the Saudi team, they exited the competition early after a disappointing draw against Norway (1-1) in the final group stage match, finishing with only one point, placing them at the bottom of the group.

In contrast, the Atlas Lions delivered a remarkable performance in Group C, topping the standings by one point over Mexico, securing their passage to the next round and setting up a strong encounter with South Korea, the third team from Group B.
