The Moroccan under-20 national team won the award for Best African Team of 2025 during the annual ceremony organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.

This victory came as the culmination of an exceptional season marked by the Atlas Lions, who succeeded in reaching the podium at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile, following an exciting final against the Argentine team, thereby strengthening the presence of Moroccan football at both the continental and global levels.
