Mohamed Wahbi, coach of the Moroccan under-20 national team, expressed great confidence in the "Lions Cubs" ability to win the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations title, affirming that the team has all the necessary qualities to compete for the championship, provided they remain calm and give the players the needed confidence.

Wahbi said in his statement to Al Arabiya Net: "The pressure is indeed there; all of Morocco wants the Africa Cup. The youth team's achievement will not put pressure on Rekraki, but rather motivate him, because today everyone sees Morocco as a country leading African football."

He added: "Morocco is the top candidate, and I am confident that we will win the Africa Cup of Nations, God willing. The ambition is great, and all Moroccans want to win the championship."

The coach emphasized that mental work is just as important as the technical aspects: "All we need is calm, because we have all the necessary elements. We must remain united and supportive behind the national team, believe in the players, support them during difficult times, and encourage them when things get tough."

Wahbi concluded by affirming: "We will undoubtedly do that, and Morocco is capable of reaching the top of the podium."
