Reports have revealed that the Spanish club Barcelona has shown interest in signing the rising Moroccan talent Yasser Zabiri, who is 19 years old, following his impressive performance during the Under-20 World Cup in Chile, where the Atlas Lions clinched the historic world title.

According to Africafoot, Barcelona's management has already reached out to the Portuguese club Famalicão to explore the possibility of signing Zabiri, who is considered one of the most promising faces in Moroccan and European football lately.

The report praised the young player's level, who has caught the attention of scouts from major clubs thanks to his effectiveness in front of goal, his quick decision-making in the penalty area, along with his attacking drive and ability to make a difference in critical moments with the Moroccan youth national team.

The Catalan club sees signing Zabiri as an investment for the future, in line with Barcelona's recent policy of relying on young talents coming from Africa and South America.

On the other hand, the same source mentioned that the Portuguese club Benfica has also entered the race to sign the Moroccan forward, indicating the rising market value of Zabiri, who has become a target for several prominent European clubs.
