Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim appeared in press statements after the victory over Sunderland with a score of two goals to none in the seventh round of the Premier League.

The coach said: "These are the types of matches where we defend well even if we don't play well. We had some opportunities, and we were focused and competitive. We did not deliver an ideal performance."

Regarding goalkeeper Laminez's participation: "Laminez had an excellent performance. We were a competitive and mature team today. We need to win these matches with a clean sheet. This is good for us."

He emphasized: "We need to realize that everyone must be ready to play. It’s a long season, and we have many issues, and anything can happen. The important thing is that the teammates helped Laminez a lot to perform very well."

On Benjamin Sesko: "He has time, and he will be here for many years. The media puts a lot of pressure on the striker to score goals, but for me, the effort is what matters most. Every time we kick the ball, he fights for it, and that is great for us. He gets the second ball and gives us a chance to catch our breath. I’m very happy about that."

He concluded: "It is frustrating not to deliver this performance again. We need to deliver a performance like this as well - it is our responsibility to deliver such a performance."
