Newcastle Star Responds to Rummenigge's Sarcastic Comment
English star Anthony Gordon of Newcastle United responded to Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, a member of the advisory board at Bayern Munich, who described his club's officials as fools for paying a large sum to acquire Nik Vultmeid.
Gordon said in response to this statement from the historical figure at Bayern Munich: "I don't know why you are commenting on a player who is not at your club. Honestly, that's a stupid thing to say, especially when the player has started off very well."
He continued: "If he had started off very poorly, you would have made this comment, but he has scored three goals in four matches, so it was a rather strange comment."
It is worth noting that the Bavarian club made attempts throughout the summer to sign the German international, who ultimately transferred to Newcastle from Stuttgart.
