
Costa Rican Referee Team for Morocco vs Brazil Match in the Youth World Cup
FIFA announced the appointment of a refereeing team from Costa Rica to officiate the match between the Moroccan youth team and their Brazilian counterpart, scheduled for Thursday, as part of the second round of the group stage of the Under-20 World Cup being hosted in Chile.
The match will be led by Costa Rican referee Keylor Herrera, assisted by his compatriots William Shaw and Victor Ramirez, while the role of fourth official has been assigned to American Joe Dickerson, and the fifth to his fellow Logan Brown.
The match will take place at the Nacional Julio Martínez stadium in the capital Santiago, at midnight Thursday Moroccan time, in an anticipated encounter within the group where the Atlas Lions aim to enhance their chances of advancing to the next round.
The youth World Cup competition, which started last Saturday, will continue until October 19, with the participation of 24 teams representing various continents.
