The police team held its press conference ahead of the match against Qatari Al-Gharafa in the second round of the AFC Champions League, where Egyptian coach Moamen Soliman spoke about their aspirations and ambitions for this important match.

Moamen Soliman said: "We came to Qatar to assert our identity and showcase the identity of the police club on the continental level. We are looking to deliver a performance that befits the history of this great club, and facing Al-Gharafa will serve as a real test to demonstrate our readiness to compete with clubs in the region."

He added: "What we have in terms of players gives us confidence that we are capable of playing as a cohesive unit. My philosophy is entirely based on teamwork and shared thinking, and I have only asked the players to give their best and translate what we have trained on into reality on the field."

He continued: "The last match against Al-Sadd was an exceptional day for me, as the team showed a strong character and distinguished performance, and I consider it an ideal start to a football year in which we aspire to go far in the tournament."

He added: "We have played three consecutive matches against strong teams like Al-Sadd, Duhok, and Nawruz, and we managed to show well during them. However, facing Al-Gharafa requires us to exert extra effort and have great luck to achieve the result we desire."

He concluded: "We are focusing only on the next match and not thinking about the past, as time is short and preparations are precise. Despite the significant absences we are facing, my confidence in the players is high, and we will enter the match with a winning mentality and nothing else."
