The third round of the Iraq Stars League will witness strong and diverse matches tomorrow, Thursday, as several major teams meet on the fields of the capital and provinces, in a confrontation that will determine further team standings and add important points to the championship journey.

The Ahmad Rady Stadium will host a strong match between Al-Student team and Al-Nafth team at 6 PM. Al-Student hopes to enhance its victories after a remarkable start with a win over Zakho 1-0 and securing a valuable point against Al-Zawraa in the second round.

On the other hand, Al-Nafth team, known for its strong level and significant difficulty in competitions, aims to return to victories after losing to Al-Karma, and to confirm its strength after winning against Al-Qasim in the previous round. The match is a tough test for both teams due to the history and the close levels of the players.

At the new Diyala Stadium, which will witness its official opening, the host team Diyala will meet Zakho at 6 PM.

Diyala enters the match after a wonderful start to the season, achieving two consecutive victories over Najaf and Baghdad Municipality, which boosts the morale of its players before facing the tough Zakho.

As for Zakho, which defeated Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya and lost to Al-Student, it has an experienced coach and high-level players, hoping to return to victories and continue the impressive performance shown in the previous round.

Tomorrow's matches will conclude with an anticipated encounter at Al-Fayhaa Stadium in Basra between Al-Police team and Nawruz Club from the north at 8:30 PM.

Al-Police comes after an important win over Duhok 2-0 in the last round, having a postponed match against Al-Zawraa, and aims to continue winning and strengthen its position among the leading teams.

Meanwhile, Nawruz team seeks to confirm its strength after defeating Al-Kahrabaa and losing to Naft Maysan, relying on its relatively good players to deliver a strong performance and compete with Al-Police on their home ground.
