Inzaghi: Al-Akhidood is an Organized Team and We Aim to Deliver a Good Match
Simone Inzaghi, the coach of Al-Hilal, confirmed that the Al-Akhidood team is organized and that the leader is striving to deliver a good match against them in the league, while also revealing the status of Darwin Nunez and Ruben Neves regarding participating in the match.
Al-Hilal will face their counterpart Al-Akhidood tomorrow, Thursday, in the fourth round of the Saudi Pro League.
Inzaghi said in the press conference before the match: "Before the cup match (against Al-Adalah), they had some pains (Neves and Nunez)."
He explained: "We preferred not to summon them (against Al-Adalah), and the decision regarding their participation against Al-Akhidood will be made after the end of today's training."
He added: "We are still working to deliver the best, and we are keen on improving our handling of set pieces. We know that Al-Akhidood players are distinguished in that, but we will manage it well."
He continued: "We know very well that Al-Akhidood is an organized team, and they come to face us after their victory in the King’s Cup, and we strive to deliver a good match to please our fans."
He praised his player Abdullah Al-Hamdan, saying: "Al-Hamdan will be on the team list for the match, he is a player who always performs well with us and with the national team, and the goal he scored in the last match was well-deserved."
