The famous Lebanese star Hassan Maatouk, a player for Al-Jouiya Sports Club, has become the all-time top scorer in the Lebanese football league.
This was achieved after the player, who joined the southern club following a long history with Ansar Club, reached his 122nd goal in the league.
Maatouk had scored two goals in Al-Jouiya's first match in the Lebanese league against Al-Burj Club during the first week of competition.
Despite being 38 years old and having developed in Germany, Maatouk has not played primarily as a striker throughout his career.
It is worth noting that before his 6 years with Ansar, Maatouk played for Al-Najma, Al-Ahed, and several clubs in the UAE league.
