Paris Saint-Germain star Ousmane Dembélé has been awarded the Ballon d'Or for the best player in the world for 2025, surpassing many football stars, most notably Lamine Yamal.

The French star received the Ballon d'Or during the France Football ceremony held on Monday evening at the Théâtre du Châtelet in the French capital, Paris.

Dembélé contributed to his team's victory in five titles last season: the French league, the French Super Cup, the French Cup, the UEFA Champions League, and the UEFA Super Cup.

The Brazilian legend Ronaldinho presented Dembélé with the Ballon d'Or, noting that the former Brazilian star had won the prestigious award in 2005.
