The director of the media office at the Iraqi Football Federation, Youssef Fa'al, confirmed that the partnership with the Spanish League has given the Iraqi Stars League great value, elevating it from a local level to an Arab and global level.

Fa'al stated in an interview with the Iraqi News Agency:

"The Spanish League is a brand that cannot fail in any aspect, whether it is sporting, technical, tactical, or marketing. The Spanish League's trust in the Iraqi Federation is substantial, as evidenced by the praise from the league's president, Javier Tebas, regarding the program and schedule of the league, which reflects the close cooperation and sincere desire from the Spanish side to make this experience successful."

He added: "This experience has proven successful in the Arab region, prompting many countries to replicate it, as there is widespread interest from leagues in the region to benefit from the Iraqi model."

Fa'al pointed out that the Iraqi league has become the focus of many:

"The league has become sought after by many channels, and there has been an increase in interest from foreign clubs in recruiting Iraqi players, due to the qualitative leap achieved in previous seasons, and the presence of professional players with high contracts, in addition to players from Arab and African national teams that qualified for the World Cup."

He concluded by saying: "These factors have contributed to enhancing the competitive strength and quality of the matches, along with improving infrastructure and developing transportation and training, which has helped elevate the level of the Iraqi league, which currently ranks tenth in Asia, with ambitions to reach the list of the top five leagues on the continent."
