Mbappe: I Have No Regrets About Leaving Paris Saint-Germain
The French star Kylian Mbappe spoke about his feelings towards his former team Paris Saint-Germain, confirming that he left the Parisian club without any regrets after years filled with experiences with the French team.
Mbappe said in a press interview: "I have friends at Paris Saint-Germain, and those who know me well understand that friendship is very important to me. You cannot attack a team that includes your friends."
He added: "My story with Paris was over, and I left without any feeling of regret. Even the things I didn't do well remain part of history. We didn't win the Champions League, and my time there ended."
He concluded: "If you look at it quickly, you might think I'm a jinxed player! We lost to Dortmund after hitting the post eight times... Even today, I can't explain how we didn't qualify."
It is worth noting that Paris Saint-Germain won the Champions League title last season for the first time in its history, while Mbappe had already left for Real Madrid.
