Razi Shneishil criticizes the league draw and questions the readiness of Nurooz Stadium
The coach of the Electricity team, Razi Shneishil, expressed his dissatisfaction with the mechanism by which the draw for the first round matches of the Iraqi Stars League was conducted, confirming that what happened does not align with the aspirations for organizing a tournament that is supposed to be of a high professional level.
Shneishil stated in press statements: "We were surprised by the draw for the first round matches being conducted without us being notified or invited to attend, which is unacceptable in a tournament as significant as the Iraqi Stars League," pointing out that the lack of coordination between the federation and the clubs raises concerns about some organizational details.
He added: "According to the schedule issued by the federation, we will play our first match against the Nurooz team at their stadium, but the information we received indicates that the stadium is not yet ready to host official matches, which raises significant questions about the accuracy of the preparations and prior coordination."
The Electricity coach concluded his remarks by emphasizing that clubs need greater clarity in the organization mechanism, with the necessity of addressing any gaps early on, in order to preserve the league's image and provide an ideal atmosphere for teams and fans.
