The Catalan newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that FC Barcelona has decided not to perform surgery on its player Gavi at this time, opting to continue conservative treatment for three weeks.

According to the newspaper, Gavi will not undergo arthroscopy on his right knee and will continue with conservative treatment. If the player's condition improves, he will return to participate; however, if the pain persists, surgical intervention will be considered later.

Barcelona had previously announced that Gavi is suffering from pain in his right knee, which is the same knee he underwent surgery on November 19, 2023, after being injured while playing for the Spanish national team.

Gavi's injury represents a significant blow to the Catalan team, which needs all its players during the current season's competitions.
