French Nice Terminates Contract with Algerian Bilel Brahimi by Mutual Agreement
The French club Nice announced today, Tuesday, the termination of the contract of its Algerian international winger Bilel Brahimi by mutual agreement, making him a free agent in the ongoing summer transfer market.
Brahimi had played last season on loan at the Belgian club Sint-Truiden, before both parties decided to officially end the association this summer.
The 24-year-old is the second Algerian player to leave Nice during the current transfer window, after his teammate Badr Eddine Bouanani, who moved to Stuttgart in Germany.
According to media reports, Brahimi is attracting interest from clubs in the MLS, which could open a new chapter in his professional career, following a French experience that did not meet expectations.
It is worth noting that Nice finished last season of Ligue 1 in fourth place, achieving European qualification.
