Official: Arsenal Announces the Signing of Hincapié on Loan
Arsenal has officially announced the signing of Ecuadorian defender Piero Hincapié from Bayer Leverkusen on a one-season loan to strengthen the team's defense.
Hincapié is 23 years old and has played over 100 matches with Leverkusen, contributing to winning the Bundesliga title in the 2023/2024 season.
He has also represented the Ecuador national team in 46 matches and participated in the 2022 World Cup and Copa América.
The sporting director and coach of Arsenal confirmed that Hincapié will add experience and defensive strength to the team, and the player will wear the number 5 jersey and join the team after completing his international commitments.
