The management of Belouizdad Youth has finalized a distinguished deal by signing the Algerian international Farid Mellali, making him one of the team's most prominent acquisitions during the recent summer transfer window.

Mellali (28 years old) has joined the ranks of 'Siyarabi' with a new contract, after completing his professional experience in France with Angers for a full seven seasons, returning to the Algerian league with considerable European experience.

Although the club has not officially introduced its new player yet, the Professional Football League announced on its website the eligibility of Mellali, making him eligible to wear the team's colors starting from the current season.

The graduate of the Paradou Academy was close to signing with either CR Belouizdad or JS Kabylie, before the management of Belouizdad Youth succeeded in securing the deal in its favor in the final hours of the transfer window, a move that fans considered to be the 'best' in this summer's transfer market.
