Fulham Secures the Signing of Terik George

Fulham has agreed to sign young player Terik George from Chelsea in a permanent transfer deal worth £22 million, plus a resale percentage clause.

The 19-year-old player has agreed to a five-year contract with Fulham and is preparing to undergo a medical examination in the coming days.

Terik George made his first appearance of the current season with Chelsea as a substitute after his teammate Liam Delap was injured. His transfer comes after an impressive season in which he participated in 26 matches across all competitions and scored 3 goals. George plays as a winger and is a product of Chelsea's academy, which he joined at a young age.

The 2024/2025 season saw George shine under coach Enzo Maresca, as he contributed to most of Chelsea's matches in the Europa Conference League, earning him significant confidence despite the strong competition in his position. He also signed a new contract with Chelsea in June 2024 that runs until the summer of 2027.

George's transfer is part of Chelsea's plans to strengthen their squad with new names in the winger position, following the departure of Noni Madueke to Arsenal and the failure to secure a permanent deal for Jadon Sancho. Meanwhile, George is awaiting the opportunity to participate with the England U21 team in the upcoming international break.
