The management of Mouloudia Algiers announced today, Sunday, that it has signed former Algerian international player Zinedine Ferhat, making him one of the team's most prominent signings in the summer transfer window.

The club confirmed that the deal was a free transfer following the expiration of Ferhat's contract with French club Angers, thus joining the list of new arrivals to Mouloudia, alongside defender Ayman Bouguerra, goalkeeper Alexis Guendouz, and Guinean international Alhassan Bangoura.

This move is part of a strategy to reinforce the team with experienced players, in order to enhance Mouloudia's chances in competing for local titles and upcoming African competitions.

Ferhat (31 years old) is considered one of the most prominent Algerian players in his position, having previously excelled with several local and European clubs thanks to his technical skills and ability to create opportunities and score, making his return to the Algerian league a significant gain for the coach's squad.
