Press sources revealed the connection of Ali Maher, the head coach of Ceramica Cleopatra, to taking over the coaching position at Al-Ahly club, instead of the Spanish coach Jose Ribeiro, who was dismissed today, Sunday.

The sources stated that Ali Maher, the current coach of Ceramica Cleopatra, did not meet with the football committee and there was no negotiation or discussion with him at all, as he was present today at the club to complete some personal procedures at the notary office.
The sources added that the name of Hossam Al-Badri may be suggested on social media, but it is not under consideration for the decision-makers at Al-Ahly.
