Reliable journalist David Ornstein confirmed that Arsenal has reached a final agreement with Bayer Leverkusen to sign Ecuadorian defender Piero Hincapié.
Ornstein stated via his official account on X platform that Hincapié will join Arsenal on a one-season loan, with an obligation to buy at the end of the current season.
According to the source, the deal is worth 52 million euros plus a 10% fee from any future sale, with the player set to sign a 5-year contract after the permanent transfer.
Hincapié is expected to travel to London over the weekend to undergo medical examinations and officially join the Gunners.
