The management of Al Hilal Saudi Club has submitted an official offer to Italian club Fiorentina worth 35 million euros for the signing of young defender Pietro Komuzo during the ongoing summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports.

Reports indicate that the 20-year-old Italian player will determine his position regarding the Al Hilal offer in the coming days, amid significant anticipation from the blue fans who await an official response.

Al Hilal's management aims to strengthen the foreign player roster with promising signings, as Komuzo falls under the category of players born in 2004 and above, which aligns with the club's policy of supporting its squad with young talent for the future.

The Italian defender is one of the prominent graduates of Fiorentina's academy, which he joined in the 2019-2020 season from Pordenone Giovanile, before being promoted to the first team in the 2023-2024 season, where he participated in 12 matches across various competitions.

Last season, Komuzo established his position as a regular starter in Serie A, having played 33 matches, scoring a goal against Udinese, and participated in 10 matches in the UEFA Europa Conference League, contributing to Fiorentina's progress to the semifinals.

While awaiting his final decision, Al Hilal views Komuzo as one of the most promising defenders in Italian football, making the anticipated deal a qualitative addition to the defense in preparation for the upcoming local and continental challenges.
