3 Options for Real Madrid to Replace Ceballos' Departure

Real Madrid is studying the possibility of signing a new midfielder, in case Dani Ceballos departs during the current transfer window, amid Marseille's interest in acquiring his services.

The Spanish newspaper "AS" reported that Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Warton is at the top of the royal club's list of interests, with a market value of around 80 million euros and is viewed as an ideal option to fill the pivot position.

The newspaper added that the second option for the royal club is Dutch player Kees Smit from Alkmaar, whose value is estimated between 25 and 30 million euros, but he is not a priority for the leaders of the royal club.

The newspaper noted that the club is impressed with academy player Thiago Petaric to replace Ceballos, especially since the royal club had renewed his contract until the summer of 2030, considering him one of the most prominent rising talents.

The newspaper concluded that the royal club's management believes that the team needs to strengthen its midfield in case Ceballos leaves.
