Roben Amorim, the coach of Manchester United, expressed his complete dissatisfaction with his team's performance despite the effort put in, following the 1-1 draw against Fulham, confirming that the team needs to improve on certain tactical aspects.

Amorim stated in his remarks to Sky Sports: "We can perform better, but what matters to me is the effort exerted. At some moments we were good, especially at the beginning of the match, but after scoring the goal we only focused on the result and were not smart in managing the situation."

He added: "We need to think more about our performance. I know the feeling of a player who must win every match. We missed a penalty and several opportunities, and after we scored the goal, we should have defended it smartly. We must focus on our movements and play until the end."

Regarding Fulham's corner kicks, Amorim explained: "We tried to press high, but sometimes we pushed the ball to the flanks too quickly. We wanted to press all the time, but sometimes we had to manage the game and drop back a bit. They had more space than us during their attacks."

The Portuguese coach touched on the missed penalty by Bruno Fernandes, saying: "He is not used to missing penalties and knows the importance of this moment and its significant impact on the team. During the match, he was not happy because he was not engaged enough, and with him bearing a lot of responsibility, he felt that missing the penalty was a turning point."

He concluded his remarks by emphasizing the importance of the result: "We only want to win matches. The players realize they represent a big club and must always give their best. They worked hard today and throughout the week in training. I am confident that we will achieve many victories soon."
