Inter Milan is getting ready to kick off its campaign in the Italian league for the 2025/2026 season when they host Torino at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium on Monday evening at 9:45 PM Cairo time.

Kievo stated in his remarks before the match: "We have worked hard during a short and intensive preparation period, the players have shown great commitment, we are a team in the process of building and we always strive to improve both individually and collectively."

Regarding the transfer market, he said: "We had specific targets, but some clubs refused to sell, as happened with us, our commitment to the club's philosophy is to sign good young players who are ready to play with Inter."

On the timing of the transfer window, he added: "What coaches see does not change anything because the rules are set by FIFA and UEFA, we prefer to start the season with a complete team, but this is also part of the game."

On the competition for the title, he confirmed: "I agree with Allegri, the champion of last season is the top contender, especially considering what they spent in the market."

Regarding the match against Torino, he continued: "They changed the coach, but the structure of the team hasn't changed much, there is always some uncertainty with a new coach, but I expect Torino to come and play their match, on paper they have nothing to lose, and they are an organized and healthy team."

Inter enters the new season after finishing last season in second place, behind Napoli, who clinched the title in the final round, and Kievo hopes to lead the team to a strong start this season, confirming: "I am proud to coach Inter Milan, we are happy with the beginning, calm, and motivated, and what happens on the pitch will show us where we stand."
