Al-Hilal Sticks to Abdullah Radeef and Rejects Loan to French Club Angers
Thursday 21-08-2025
The management of Al-Hilal Club has decided to reject the loan offer presented by French club Angers for young striker Abdullah Radeef, in line with the desire of Italian coach Simone Inzaghi to keep the player in his plans for the new season.

Informed sources told "Asharq Al-Awsat" that Inzaghi held a special meeting with Radeef to explain his planned role and to benefit from his abilities during the upcoming season, emphasizing the player's importance in the team's lineup.

The newspaper had reported on August 9 that the player was close to transferring to the French league on loan with an option to buy, and that negotiations had reached advanced stages before Al-Hilal decided to hold on to him.

Despite interest from several European clubs in addition to the desire of Al-Fateh Club to acquire the player, Al-Hilal preferred to maintain its local technical options, benefiting from Radeef's outstanding performance with the Saudi national team in the Toulon International Tournament.

Abdullah Radeef expresses his desire to experience a professional career abroad, but the final decision regarding his future remains in the hands of the club's management and coaching staff.
