The Spanish club Villarreal has reached a complete agreement with the Portuguese player Renato Vega regarding the personal terms of his contract, in a first step towards finalizing the transfer of the young player during the current summer transfer window.

Reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that negotiations between Villarreal and the English club Chelsea are at an advanced stage, as both parties are working towards a final agreement on the details of the deal.

The current offer presented by the Spanish club amounts to 24 million euros, in addition to potential bonuses, with Villarreal seeking to reach a total financial package close to 30 million euros in order to convince Chelsea.

Romano had exclusively revealed last week that Villarreal had entered into official negotiations to acquire the player, and it appears that the deal is progressing steadily towards a final resolution if an agreement is reached between the two clubs in the coming days.
