Yannick Ferreira, the coach of Zamalek, apologized for what happened in the previous press conference following the match against Al-Mokawloon Al-Arab in the Premier League, stating that his nervousness was due to back pain, which led him to end the conference quickly to go to the hospital.

Ferreira talked about the preparations for the match against Modern Sport, saying in the pre-match press conference: "We worked on recovering the players appropriately before the match, and we took a day off and then started preparing for the game. We hope that the team's lineup will be complete despite the injuries some players sustained in the last match against Al-Mokawloon Al-Arab and during training."

He added: "The support of the fans in the previous match was great, and we try to make them happy. The team missed some technical aspects in the match against Al-Mokawloon Al-Arab, which prevented us from scoring goals. We learned from that and are working on improving from match to match to reach the best performance."

He continued: "We faced unfavorable conditions in the previous match, including the pitch, and we won't complain much, but we will seek technical solutions in the upcoming period."

Regarding the return of Ahmed Fattouh to the White team's training, Ferreira said: "I spoke with the player for an hour before he joined yesterday's training, and I felt his enthusiasm and seriousness, which was evident during his training session. Fattouh delivered an excellent performance and will benefit the team in the upcoming period given his capabilities."
